Problem

A company was slitting steel strip, but the strip shape was very poor, resulting in the slitting and side trimming process being non-consistent and inaccurate.

Solution

Bronx designed and supplied a Tension Leveller to retro-fit into the line to correct the strip shape before slitting.

Result

The strip shape was improved so the slitting and side trimming processes were now accurate and product quality was significantly improved.
