Satellite paint line, Kenya

Problem

A small company has a medium size Galvanizing Line and wants to move into the pre-painted, galvanized steel market. Capital investment is very limited and their initial market share will start off small. They need a Paint Line that requires low investment cost, can run small batch sizes, to be able to stop and start to meet market requirements, be able to change colour quickly and easily and to require very little manning. The company has no painting technology expertise or experience.

Solution

Bronx designed, supplied and commissioned a Satellite Paint Line using Infra-Red Oven technology. The line requires low capital cost, can stop and start at any time with no heat up delays. Product quality is first class. The line is designed in modules so it can be upgraded as market demand increases. Bronx supplied a complete Technology package including, full operator training. Bronx also supplied an expert Paint Line engineer to stay with the company for several weeks during the commencement of production.

Result

The company is now in full production, 24 hours per day. They are producing approximately 12 different paint colours to the general building market.
