Bronx commissions ‘Satellite’ paint line in Russia

During September 2006, Bronx International completed commissioning of its latest ‘Satellite’ Paint Line, for the Volgaburmash Group, Russia.

The Paint Line produces painted product to a maximum thickness of 0.8mm, 1250mm wide, operating speeds up to 35mpm. Estimated output is 40,000 TPA.

It has been designed to complement a Bronx Galvanizing Line, commissioned in 2005 for the same company, providing a total “Bronx ‘Satellite’ Paint System”.

With a Bronx ‘Satellite’ Paint System, galvanized coil is pretreated and or primed in the galvanizing line, with a finish coat applied in the paint line. In this case galvanized feed is pretreated in the galvanizing line with all other operations in the paint line.

This paint line is sited near the galvanizing line. Bronx Satellite lines can also be situated at remote sites, such as service centers, or combined with the galvanizing line to form a single process line.
