Bronx awarded another contract in Turkey

Tezcan Galvanizli has awarded Bronx International a contract for a new 100,000 TPA paint line.  The line will be part of a new facility at their Izmit site, which also includes a second NOF galvanizing line.

The paint line is designed for production of construction products and domestic appliance (DA) white goods.  The line will run steel and aluminium and includes quick colour change using Finish A and Finish B coaters, each with 3 roll top head design.

The line also includes over and under wind capability, entry cleaning section and pre-treatment coater.  The ovens are gas fired ‘clean air’ catenary type for prime and finish coatings.   Provision has been left in the line design for the addition of hot film lamination and strip embossing.

Tezcan’s decision to purchase this line comes after 6 years of operating a Bronx ‘Satellite’ Paint Line.  This small flexible line allowed Tezcan to develop their customer base within Turkey to a point that they can now justify a larger line operating in conjunction with their existing one.

The Bronx ‘Satellite’ concept was designed exactly for this purpose and further examples where this has led to growth of the customer’s coil coated business and further investment in their painting facility can be seen in Nigeria, Russia and Kenya.
