The Satellite Concept
Bronx has an excellent name in building medium to large Colour Coating lines world wide. Bronx has realised that a large inflexible line is not always the best option. The realisation led to Bronx developing the Satellite Concept. Satellite not only offers better service to the end user and cheaper conversion costs, it also means an enormous saving of inventory of finished colour stock is possible.
Roll On Passivation
After galvanizing & cooling, a chemical, usually chromic based, is applied to both sides of the strip to prevent the coating losing its bright finish. Bronx has developed a Passivation Coater that rolls on a protective passivant coating.
Bronx Tightcoat Wet Flux Galvanizing System
Bronx's worldwide success in offering solutions continues with the patented 'Modified Flux Technology' developed by Bronx. The Bronx development program has resulted in a product that is guaranteed 'tight coat'. The product from a Bronx Flux galvanizing line also produces an excellent, smooth and shiny surface ideal for painting in continuous coil coating lines. Both the 'tight coat' and 'paintability' of the coating has been achieved through ongoing development of the process section and pot chemistry of Bronx lines.
